I didn't know about this wonderful deck area at the back of Tavern on the Hill. A beautiful area with a different vibe than the rest of the restaurant. I loved the feel of it. As always, the service was fantastic. The server was attentive and friendly.

We were treated to dinner here as part of a work trip to the Capitol, so I can't comment on the price, but I can say it was an elegant dining experience! The service was top-notch and each plate of food was amazing! Even something as straight forward as a Ceasar Salad was elevated by a delicious homemade dressing. The Chicken Piccata was incredibly flavorful and the chocolate cake was so rich it's almost indescribable. We were lucky enough to be joined by some state representatives and you could tell this was a very popular restaurant for those serving at the Capitol. My only criticisms would be that our table bread was plain, cold Italian bread and I would've expected a warm basket of homemade rolls, and the restroom is in desperate need of a refresh. As well maintained as the dining area is, I was surprised no money was spent to update the restrooms.

Delicious food and friendly service. The garlic prawns (shrimp scampi) and the lamb chops were fantastic. They treated us like family, 10/10 would eat at again when we come back to visit.

Had the pleasure of having dinner here tonight. The rainbow over the view of the river should have been a sign it was going to be a great experience! Our waiter (not server because he waits for us to tell him what we want) Michael was awesome, great food suggestions (highly suggest the Saganaki) and hilarious. The food was the real show stopper. Everything was incredible! Will definitely be returning!

The appetizers were amazing. The pastrami seasoned salmon was delicious. If you enjoy salmon order this. The sausage and fried eggplant was very good. I ordered the Porterhouse. I ordered it medium rare, it was slightly overcooked. Still a delicious cut of steak. Wife enjoyed the rack of lamb. Cooked perfectly. We skipped the dessert tray options, everything looked fantastic, just too full to indulge. Full stocked bar, anything you can imagine they can deliver.

One of my favorite restaurants in town. The food and service were exceptional. I ordered Fresh seafood “ Sto Furno” and for dessert Baklava cheesecake. My experience with seafood and dessert was incredible. I have never tried cheese cake with baklava. I recommend this super desert to everyone.

This is our second year attending the Sportsman Caucus. Our event was held in the Atrium. What a great space! The event brought together a diverse group of legislators, sportsmen, wildlife management agencies, non-profits, as well as energy companies to share ideas, celebrate accomplishments & collaborate future endeavors. The event was an even bigger success than last year. The staff went above & beyond by anticipating our groups comfort & expectations. The owners Laki & Pam worked alongside the best of the best wait staff. The event went off seemlessly. The sound system was ready to go & sounded great! The amazing team took initiative long before the event to assure a cool, enjoyable setting. The food was not only well presented but was something you might see in a gourmet magazine. It tasted as delicious as it looked the entire length of our event. The wait staff was incredible. They were all very gracious, professional & always smiling. You barely had to look up & they were already attending to your need. The cloth covered tables were cleared constantly. The staff worked together beautifully, sharing every responsibility in an expeditious manner. I myself had the pleasure of speaking with them all throughout the evening. Each & everyone was incredibly intelligent & very personable. My husband & I also had the pleasure of spending some time with the owners Laki & Pam, who echoed our observations of their amazing staff & their appreciation to them. The owners were delightful & unwavering in their pursuit to give each & and every one of their guests a memorable experience. Thank you, Laki & Pam & your amazing staff for knocking it out of the park yet again!

My wife and I have dinner with my aunt and uncle at different restaurants each month and have been meaning to make it to Tavern on the Hill for some time. Everything was great. The service was exceptional, the food was prepared to perfection, and the atmosphere was nice. My wife and I each had a crock of french onion soup, which was great. I had the 9 oz Filet of beef, ordered medium rare with roasted parsley potatoes. The steak was prepared perfectly, was tender (like soft butter), and very tasty. The Bordelaise sauce was delicious. The potatoes were delectable. My wife had the Halibut, which was also prepared to perfection and had amazing flavor ( she was generous and shared a bite with me ). Thank you for the exceptional service, Marzena. Tavern on the Hill will go on our repeat list.
